Troubleshooting issues related to downloading files can be frustrating. Here are some simple steps and tips to help you resolve these problems:
Refresh the webpage.
Try using incognito/private browsing mode.
Reload your browser.
Clear your browser's cache.
Disable any add-ons or plugins, such as Adblock or uBlock, if they are installed in your browser.
Check if your browser allows the download of multiple files.
Test the download behavior in an alternative browser.
If you're facing issues with a specific file, try downloading it from the storage platform that Pics.io works on top of (if you use Pics.io with Google Drive or Amazon S3);
Make sure the necessary download permissions are granted for that file on the storage end.
While downloading large-size files, refrain from using an incognito mode. Download such assets via the usual browser window only.
If you try downloading a file via a mobile app, web version on a mobile device, or via Pics.io PWA, check whether this file can be downloaded from a regular Pics.io web version on your desktop or laptop.
If the problem downloading a file still persists, send us an email to support@pics.io or open a chat and provide our Support team with the following information:
copy the links to the files that can’t be downloaded;
specify settings applied during the download process:
Save as Original;
Save as Custom (specify format/quality/size/pixels, resolution/units set for files);
Save as Social media presets (name of a used preset).
specify the browser and the platform used while downloading:
name of a browser;
type of a platform (web, mobile app, PWA);
quick screen recording describing a problem.
Downloading the selection of files, please describe the exact options chosen:
Download as an archive;
Organize files by collections;
Download (when you download multiple assets as separate files).
To expedite the resolution process, you can also attach a .HAR file that logs the actions performed in Pics.io when the problem occurs. You can learn how to record .HAR file here.
