At Pics.io, we always strive to be very connected to our user base and we love hearing all of the great ideas you have to share with us while working with our platform. Really, we track and keep records of each feature request very closely.
And even though our platform has a wealth of features and functionality, we might definitely miss something that our customers may want or need. For you to be able to influence what we implement on our platform, all you have to do is to share your idea along with your use case and scope of a given problem.
What is a feature request?
These are simply your suggestions and thoughts on what could be improved in Pics.io that come up while you work with the platform on a daily basis. They make us understand how you're using Pics.io, and how you expect it to behave within your particular workflow. If we see a real-life picture of how you are making use of our product, we will be able to offer you a better user experience.
That's why we are always open to discussing what could facilitate your work.
How to place a feature request?
You can submit your feature requests via email channel by sending them as regular emails directly to support@pics.io, or you can contact us via our customer support chat widget on our website (or in your Pics.io account) and chat with our agents about that.
What happens when I send my feature request?
When you contact us about your feature request, the first thing we do is check our feature requests board to see if it's something that's been requested before. If it has, we add your vote to the list along with all the details and prioritize the feature. If it hasn't, we add your idea to the backlog so that it can be tracked further and once it starts to gain more interest, we move it from the backlog to the feature requests list.
Our Product team regularly reviews both the feature requests board and the feature requests backlog not to miss a thing. They take into consideration the number of customers who requested the feature and comments about use cases as well. The more votes a feature request gets, the more chances it might be developed!
Usually, when it comes to moving forward with a requested feature, our Product team reaches out to the requester to discuss his use case in detail. Thus, if you'd like to speak to our Product team about your vision of making our platform better, just let us know. We will be happy to jump on a quick call with you!
Will I be notified when a feature enters the development pipeline?
As we track everything, we will certainly keep you informed about all stages your feature request is going through regardless of whether it's only being discussed or it's postponed as of now. If you've requested a feature for Pics.io, no matter how long ago it may have been, you will hear from us if that feature is going to be developed.
As of now, you can see what has been recently released here.
What if I don't want to wait and need the feature now?
Although we put most of our customers' requirements right into our feature requests board, it happens when a business needs something really special and it needs it as soon as possible. In that case, we are happy to assist in providing custom development services. It’s a really handy service based on competitive prices and deep expertise allowing you to add the functionality specific to your company workflow front of the line.
Still, if it's something that does not align with our product goals (e.g. some spin-off project, etc.), it is not going to be a priority for us and we don't guarantee that we will be able to help you with this.
Do you have a public roadmap?
Unfortunately, Pics.io doesn't have a public roadmap as well as we don't have the possibility to see the requests of others and vote for them as of now.
